Description

Updates policy settings even when the update is transmitted across a slow network connection, such as a telephone line.

Because updates across slow connections can cause significant delays, by default, the system does not update policy settings when it detects a slow connection.

This entry stores the setting of the Allow processing across a slow network connection option in the policy-processing policies in Group Policy.

  • If you enable a policy-processing policy and select this option, Group Policy adds this entry to the appropriate Class-ID subkey with a value of 0.

  • If you clear the option or disable the policy, Group Policy sets the value of this entry to 1.

  • If you set the policy to Not configured, Group Policy deletes this entry from the registry and the system behaves as though the value is 1.
