Remove an Authorization Rule

Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista

Remove an FTP authorization rule when you no longer need to allow or deny the specific users or groups for which the rule was created.

Note

Removing a configuration setting removes the setting at the local level and from any child levels that inherit the setting.

To remove an authorization rule

  1. Open IIS Manager.

  2. In Features View, double-click FTP Authorization Rules.

  3. Select the FTP authorization rule you want to remove and then click Remove in the Actions pane.
