Add territories to or delete them from a territory set

To add a territory to the current territory set

  1. Open the Territory Manager if it is not already open.

    How?

  2. Click New Territory Gg674705.BIZNewTerritoryButton(en-us,MSDN.10).gif.

To delete a territory from the current territory set

  1. Open the Territory Manager if it is not already open.

    How?

  2. Select the territory that you want to delete.

  3. Click Delete Territory Gg674705.BIZDeleteTerritoryButton(en-us,MSDN.10).gif.

Notes

  • If data is mapped to a territory, deleting that territory will also remove the associated data from the map and set the matched status of the data record to unmatched. If you create a territory with the same name as a previously deleted territory that had data mapped to it, the data will again be displayed on the map.

  • You can also right-click on a label on the map and then click New Territory to add a new territory containing the selected geographic area to a territory set.
