The following code example adds a WMI connection to a package, and sets the ServerName, UserName, and Password properties. The code example needs to be modified to have the appropriate values supplied for the properties for your application.

ConnectionManager WmiConn = pkg.Connections.Add("WMI");
DtsProperty prop = WmiConn.Properties["ServerName"];
prop.SetValue(WmiConn, @"\\localhost");
WmiConn.Properties["Username"].SetValue(WmiConn, @"");
WmiConn.Properties["Password"].SetValue(WmiConn, @"");
Dim WmiConn As ConnectionManager = pkg.Connections.Add("WMI")
Dim prop As DtsProperty = WmiConn.Properties("ServerName")
prop.SetValue(WmiConn, "\\localhost")
WmiConn.Properties("Username").SetValue(WmiConn, @"")
WmiConn.Properties("Password").SetValue(WmiConn, @"")

Remarks

If you do not use Windows Authentication, you must provide a user name and password for the connection.
