We recommend that you use Management Reporter for Microsoft Dynamics ERP to create, maintain, deploy, and view financial reports. Management Reporter lets you design financial reports based on ledger accounts and financial dimensions, drill down to transaction-level detail, and use web-based report viewing. For more information about how to print financial reports by using Management Reporter, see Management Reporter for Microsoft Dynamics ERP.

You must download the taxonomy files that you need before you import them.

  1. Click General ledger > Setup > Posting > XBRL taxonomy.

  2. Click Import XBRL taxonomy.

    Note

To import a schema file or linkbase file, click Import schema file or Import linkbase file, respectively.

  3. In the File name field, enter or select the location of the taxonomy file, and then click OK.

  4. Click Details to open the Taxonomy details form, where you can view the taxonomy elements in alphabetical order. Each element is a label and is assigned a label value from the taxonomy.
