Modifying Speech Server

This section provides information about modifying an existing Microsoft Speech Server (MSS) installation. When modifying MSS, always shutdown and start the computer using the recommended procedures in Shutting Down or Starting Speech Server.

Important  Before running Setup to modify or upgrade the existing MSS installation, it is recommended that you save all current settings to a file that can be uploaded later if needed. For more information see Saving or Loading Speech Server Settings.
