Set Message Importance

You can set the importance of a message to High, Low, or Normal. You can do this for new messages, replies, and forwarded messages. By default, messages are set to Normal importance.

How do I set message importance?

  • To set the importance level in a message, click Importance: High high importance or Importance: Low importance low on the toolbar.
  • You can also set message importance in Message Options. For more information about message options, see Set Message Options.
