Setting Filter Criteria

Select the type of entity (Providers or tModels) that you want to export, and then type all or part of the name that you want to include in the filter criteria. The criteria are used to display a list of entities that you can choose to export.

Note

Exported data does not include entity ownership information or publisher assertion relationships.

Item Details

Name

One or more characters in the name of the entities that you want to export. This field is optional. This search is not case-sensitive.

Use % as a wild card. For example, to search for names that begin with "account", type the following: account. To search for names that contain "account", type the following: %account%.

Providers

Select this option if you want to export Providers.

TModels

Select this option if you want to export tModels.

Include dependencies

Select this check box to include the tModels that are referenced by the entities that match the filter criteria. Clear this check box if you do not want to include dependent tModels. This field is optional.

For example, if an entity references a categorization tModel, select this check box to include that categorization tModel in the results.

Remove default discovery URLs

Select this check box to remove the default discovery Uniform Resource Locator (URL) that is associated with the Providers that you export. Clear this check box if you do not want to remove the default discovery URL from exported entities. This field is optional.

Important

If you plan to import this data into a different Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI) site, select the Include dependencies and Remove default discovery URL check boxes This ensures that the data that you export is complete and that it does not contain references to information or entities that may not exist in the new site.

Note

When you import data into a site, the new data overwrites duplicate information.
