Limiting Certain Users to Local Numbers

This scenario illustrates an example where an administrator in Redmond wants to set up a calling policy to limit certain users in Redmond to call only local numbers in the Redmond area.

  • In this example, administrators assign the Redmond Local Policy to users for whom they want to restrict calling to Redmond phone numbers only.

  • Because it is the only route that has the RedmondLocal phone usage, the Redmond Local Route is the only authorized route for users with the Redmond Local Policy.
