Validating Databases (Migration Wizard) (Analysis Services)

Use the Validating Databases page to validate that a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services database can be migrated by the Migration Wizard. If an error occurs that you can resolve, this validation process can be restarted by clicking Restart.

Options

  • Objects
    Displays the metadata for the databases to be migrated.

  • Stop / Restart
    Click to restart the validation process.

  • View log
    Click to view the validation log.

    Show All

    Displays all messages from the validation process.

    Show Errors

    Displays only the errors from the validation process.

    Show Successes

    Displays the successes from the validation process.

    Show Warnings

    Displays the warnings from the validation process.

  • Save log
    Click to save the log to a text file.
