The ServerNetworkProtocol Class represents network protocols installed on an instance of Microsoft SQL Server that enables communication with clients over a network.

With the ServerNetworkProtocol Class, you can:

  • Check the name, version, .dll file, number of properties, and display name of the referenced server network protocol.
  • Reference the properties and IP addresses of the network protocol.
  • Enable and disable the server network protocol.
