Lab 4: Creating the Direct Mail

In this lab, you create your direct mail campaign item. You will send direct mail to a list of new registered users, and offer them a special discount on hiking boots. You also send test mail and verify that it was sent.

For this tutorial, assume your site developer imported your log file data from the last two months and ran the following New Registered Users static report. After your developer ran the report, they exported it as a list to List Manager. (For the purposes of this lab, you will use the NewUsers list you imported to List Manager in the Preparing to Use the Direct Mailer Tutorial lab.)

• Step 1: Creating a Direct Mail campaign item
• Step 2: Verifying that the test mail was sent
